Easy Buttermilk Pie
Easy and delicious custard pie just like Nana's.

- 1 premade pie crust (Store brought or homeade)
- 1 Stick melted butter
- 1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
Prep the pie crust.
In a large bowl, whisk together the butter and sugar until smooth. Add the flour and continue to stir. Make sure the mixture remains smooth. Add the eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, and salt into the mixture. Continue to whisk until smooth. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
Bake pie 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set. (It should have a lightly golden brown color. )
Remove pie from oven and cool completely before serving.
This recipes is for a deep 9 inch pie. It can be separated into two regular pie crust and baked for 40-45 minutes. The pie will be thinner, but still taste great.
