Remove all parts from the chicken cavity; rinse and pat dry with a paper towel.
Place spices in a small bowl.
Add the oil to the spices, and stir until incorporated.
Rub the chicken with the oil and spice mixture all over. Making sure the chicken is fully coated with oil/seasoning mixture.
Place the trivet in the Instant Pot.
Pour in a cup of chicken broth or water
Place the chicken breast side up in the Instant Pot.
Replace the lid onto the instant pot and set to Manual pressure for 24 minutes (Adjust time according to size of your chicken).
Once time is up let natural release for 20 minutes.
Remove chicken from the Instant Pot and put on cookie sheet.
Broil in oven for 5-7 minutes to crisp skin.

SIZE MATTERS: This is one time size really does matter. Make sure your chicken will fit in your Instant Pot. Don’t laugh. I have purchased a chicken that didn’t fit. This will just end in disappointment when you cannot have rotisserie chicken. I have cooked up to 5.5lb chickens in my Instant Pot Duo 6 quart. Plus buying a smaller chicken means dinner is on the table even faster. VARIETY: The great thing about making rotisserie at home is you can make the flavors your own. Try your favorite cajun seasoning, lemon pepper, or just plain salt and pepper on your rotisserie chicken. You can also buy a rotisserie blend at home.
