  • 1 lb of breakfast sausage
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of almond flour
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Crushed red pepper Optional
  • Garlic Powder Optional
  • Onion Powder Optional


  • Preheat oven to 350*F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine the sausage, egg, flour, cheese, and baking powder in a large bowl. If using seasonings sprinkle across the mixture (It doesn’t take much) Using your hands mix well.
  • Using a small ice-cream scoop or cookie scoop form into balls about 1 ½ Tbs to 2 Tbs. In size.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes until lightly browned. Remove to wire rack to cool slightly.
  • Serve warm or room temp.
  • Store in air-tight container.
