Easy Low Carb Cheeseburger Salad

This low-carb burger salad will give you the taste of a burger without all the calories or carbs. This salad is divine! It's made with ground beef, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and a special sauce. You won’t even miss the bun. This low-carb burger salad is delicious and the perfect low-carb meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • ½ tsp of ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • ½ large onion diced
  • 1 10 oz package chopped romaine hearts
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 4 slices thick cut bacon cooked chopped
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ Thousand Island
  • Optional Toppings
  • pickles
  • sliced jalapenos
  • sauteed mushrooms
  • avocados

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Season with black pepper and salt. Stir fry, breaking up the pieces with a spatula, for about 7-10 minutes. You will cook until there is no pink.
  • Combine the remaining salad ingredients in a large bowl. Add the ground beef. Toss with dressing!
  • Add additional toppings as desired.
  • Enjoy.
